“Dr. Swanson is one of the best doctors I’ve ever had. My shoulder was replaced about a year ago, at that time I was extremely limited to do most normal tasks. These normal day-to-day tasks had become impossible. I was unable to do for myself as I always had, after just five weeks post surgery I was finally able to brush my hair and lift my arm above my head– what a difference, I’m forever grateful. I’d recommend all of my friends and family to Dr. Swanson!”
“After an auto accident Dr. Swanson repaired my shoulder and reattached a tendon that had been torn. He did a remarkable job and I couldn’t be more pleased with the results. I have coached baseball for years and have watched many kids go through this surgery. Because I had witnessed the recovery from this many times I was dreading the surgery. The initial pain level after surgery was significantly better than any other I had seen and even the pain levels during therapy were minimal. I was able to manage the pain without opioids after just a very short period. I have full range of motion everywhere except directly behind my back and this is improving every day. While doing the repair he cleaned up the joint damage from years of playing sports and swimming. The shoulder actually feels better now than before it was injured and I expect to be better than new in a few more months. I would not go to another surgeon for this type of surgery.”
“As an avid runner, I came to Dr. Swanson really hoping that running the Boston Marathon wasn’t out of reach, after injuring myself just 9 weeks before the race. In one week I had arthroscopic knee surgery, and went to physical therapy five days a week after surgery. I couldn’t believe it, when race day came I was able to run the marathon. I couldn’t be happier with my experience, and I feel so lucky to continue on teaching my regular fitness classes, while also continuing to train for the next marathon. I cannot imagine life without running or being active. Dr. Swanson got me to where I needed to be, to run that race, what an awesome experience!”
I work in a physical therapy facility and see many of his surgeries. He’s by far one of the best doctors we have encountered and all of his patients have returned to full duty or activities with no issues. Not only do I see his patients in our clinic, but I was one of his patients. Dr. Swanson repaired my labrum and did a bicep tenodesis on my left shoulder. I am an extremely active person who loves to workout 5-6 times a week and run Spartan races. Before surgery my shoulder would hinder my work.
